Oh man.  So I’ve been waiting for the Spring Course Schedule to come out for a while.  This is definitely nerdy and I will not run from that title.  I used to run from it.  Like when people told me I looked like Minkus from Boy Meets World and if you don’t like that comparison then how about Mouth McFadden from One Tree Hill.  Yup it’s the same guy. Lee Norris.  With that said let me explain why the spring schedule is so important to me.

I’ve been trying to determing if I 1) wanted to change majors and eventually transfer back to Illinois State and 2)  whether or not to move back to Normal whether or not I change majors.  I figured out today that changing majors would probably involve at least another 3 years of school.  And I am NOT cool with that.  I’ve already been in for 3 1/2.  There will not be another 3 1/2.  With that decision made I needed to decide what my criteria was for moving back to Normal.  Basically I only had one…ok two.  the first was I didn’t want any classes at 8 so I didn’t have to wake up at like 6 or 6:30ish just to drive to class.  The second criteria was I would prefer, but not opposed to, not having classes everyday so I would not have to travel 5 days a week.

They just released the tentative Spring Course Schedule and I really, really hope they don’t change the classes I have already picked out.  Right now I really only have classes on Tuesday and Thursday with a class at 2 on Monday.  If I want to do Chorale that means traveling on Wednesdays or staying overnight at Lincoln.  I don’t think I want to do that…which stinks because the Chorale tour is really a lot of fun.  So we’ll see about that.  Either way I don’t start classes on Monday until 2 and I have no classes Fridays.  This is tentative I realize, but I figure this means that this means extra time for me in Minnesota.  Cuz to be sure I will be coming to the cities every now and again to visit Alyssa and all my peoples who live far too close to Canada.  This factors in because I can leave Thursday night if I wanted instead of Friday and leave late Sunday night instead of early Sunday in order to make it to and from my classes.

I’m pretty sure this is the most exciting news I’ve had in a while.  Especially when you consider that I found out insurance is not covering my window being smashed in by drunk morons because I don’t have comprehensive or something, which puzzles me as to why we’re paying anything for my insurance other than liability.  Clearly whatever we’re paying for means very little.

I’m also willing to take suggestions for what I should do with all of my free time next semester.  Any ideas?

    School is bad news bears.

Maybe you could train for a triathlon or take up karate.
